If it's cheaper because someone skipped the coating, the dimensional check, the warranty process, or the catalog support, that saving rarely covers a second repair.
The final part of my checklist is simple:

- Open the box before scheduling labor.
- Check rotor runout, coating, and visible part markings before installation.
- Compare the return policy and warranty process before you need it.
